Paw Paw to host 60th Annual William H. Norton Memorial Day Parade & car show this Saturday

The 60th Annual William H. Norton Memorial Day Parade & Car Show will be hosted by the Paw Paw Parade Committee on Saturday, May 25.
The parade’s Grand Marshals are past Paw Paw Parade Committee members. These individuals dedicated so much of their time and energy into past parade weekends.

Schedule
9 a.m. Car Show held at Paw Paw schools
10 a.m. Harley Bohrer Wreath Laying Ceremony held at Woodrow Union Christian Church Cemetery
11 a.m. Veteran Monument Ceremony held at  Bank of Romney
12 p.m. Parade line up at House of Jacob
1 p.m. Parade begins at  Winchester Street and goes to Henry Miller Blvd.
2 p.m. Parade Award Ceremony at Paw Paw schools
Judges stand will be located at the Bank of Romney.

Miss West Virginia’s Outstanding Teen 2018 Katelin Bocchetti will attend the parade. She is a resident of Shepherdstown and a 2019  Jefferson High School graduate.
Throughout her year she will promote her personal platform S.P.E.A.K: Spreading Positive Esteem And Kindness.
She will attend the University of Alabama.

2019 Miss Paw Paw
Courtney Moreland was crowned 2019 Miss Paw Paw by the Paw Paw Parade Committee.
She is currently a senior at Paw Paw High School where she is a member of student council, HEROs and National Honor Society. She is also the captain of the varsity basketball team, Vice President of her senior class and the Secretary of PPHS athletic council.
Her parents are Allen and EJ Moreland. Moreland plans to attend West Liberty University in the fall to major in nursing.
