Neva V. Richwine

1931-2019

Neva V. Richwine, 87, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 in her home.

She was the widow of the late Rev. William L. Richwine who passed away May 5, 2016.

Neva was born July 1, 1931, in Cherry Run WV. and was the daughter of the late Howard & Viola Keesecker Fox.

Neva graduated in 1949 at Berkeley Springs High School.

She and her husband were founding members of the Mountain View Full Gospel Church, where they attended and served faithfully.

She loved God, her family, and every other child she met, she taught the beginner Sunday school class for over 50 years and she belonged to the former Mt. Holly Springs Mothers Club.

She enjoyed crocheting afghans for all her grandchildren, going to church, singing, sewing, gardening and cooking. Her hugs, kisses, and donuts will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by three sons David L. of Aspers, James A. of Elizabethtown and Aaron H. of Carlisle; two daughters Rebecca J. Richwine of Carlisle and Mary J. (Michael) Kutz of Carlisle. 16 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren (2 on the way), 3 great great grandchildren. Also, sisters-in-laws Margaret Richwine, Carlisle, Phyllis Fox of Hedgesville, WV, Thelma Shelton of Lorida, FL, and Priscilla Richwine of Colorado Springs, CO.

Neva was predeceased by four sons, Joel A., who passed away May of 1984, Mark W., who passed away July of 1970, Phillip D., who passed away August of 1998 and an infant boy, Richwine, who passed away in 1965. Six brothers Cletus, Harold (Ethel), Hennis (Evelyn), Nova (Edna), Ray (Betty) and Arden Fox. And three sisters Beatrice Somers, Leona Carbaugh and Mattie Fox.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11 at 11 a.m. in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs, with Rev. Mark Sweeney officiating.

Interment will be in the Big Rock Cemetery, Dickinson Twp.

Viewings will start Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
