Nancy May Shirley, 68, of Berkeley Springs, died Thursday, August 22, 2019 at her residence while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born July 24, 1951 in Fulton County, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Daniel Howard and Genevieve Sarah Childers Peck.

She was a Christian.

She was a cashier for AC&T convenience store.

She liked playing games on her tablet and going to casinos to play the slot machines.

She is survived by her children, Charles Peck and Brenda Shirley, both of Berkeley Springs, Nancy Kaczynski, Falling Waters, W.Va. and Robin Shirley, Fort Loudon, Pa.; one brother, John Peck, Warfordsburg, Pa.; seven grandchildren, Ashley Kuria and Samantha Grim, both of Dover, Pa., Brittany Murphy, Hagerstown, Md., Haley Peck, Luke Allen and James Allen all of Berkeley Springs and Destiny Allen, Martinsburg, W.Va.; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Willard Shirley on December 20, 2016; one sister, Myrtle Fleegle and one brother, Gary Peck.

Funeral services and burial will be private. Arrangements were handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs.
