Morris honored with Girl Scout Women of Distinction award

Morgan County Starting Points Director Audrey Morris, center, was honored at the Girl Scouts Women of Distinction luncheon last Wednesday, October 9, in Martinsburg. Morris was one of two Eastern Panhandle women to be saluted at the annual event for their community service, professional accomplishments and empowering example to girls and women.

Morris leads the local family resource agency for Morgan County, serves on multiple advisory boards in the Eastern Panhandle and is an advocate for child abuse prevention and family skill-building throughout the state.
