Hancock Police are looking for a suspect in the theft of three bottles of prescription medication from the Home Center Pharmacy on Main Street on Friday, March 19.

According to police, officers responded to the pharmacy at 2:48 p.m. on March 19 for a theft in progress.

While employees were distracted, the male walked behind the counter and grabbed three bottles of prescription medicine and began to leave the store.

An employee attempted to block the male from leaving, but he pushed the employee out of the way and ran out of the store westbound on West Main Street.

At no time during the incident did the suspect display a weapon or make mention of a weapon, police said.

Hancock Police were able to determine the suspect entered a white vehicle that was parked on Main Street just west of the pharmacy and drove off heading west.
