Hancock in Motion once again filled and placed luminaries around Widmeyer Park in honor of veterans and military members serving the country. Volunteers filled and placed 1,000 of the lit bags along the sidewalk leading to the park from downtown, along the park road and leading up to the park’s war memorial. The lights were set up on Saturday, December 29 and remained lit until 10 p.m. Visitors drove along the path of light, and had the chance to donate funds for the luminary display.
