Lorraine J. Rypkema
1932-2019
Lorraine Joan Rypkema, 86, of Great Cacapon, formerly of Berkeley Springs, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at her caregiver’s home in Hancock.
Born August 15, 1932 in Rochelle Park, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Anna Jacaobina Hansen Rypkema.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Berkeley Springs.
She was an english teacher and retired from Morgan County Public Schools.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 180 S. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs with the Rev. Brian Shoda officiating. Interment will be private.
