Veterans Day is a federal holiday for honoring those persons who served in the United States Armed Forces.

All veterans are honored each year on November 11 at 11 a.m.

In honor of veterans this year, the Morningside Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS) decorated a veterans tree at the Morgan County Courthouse on Fairfax Street.

Many of the ornaments were made by the members and include pictures of veterans and their families.

The courthouse will be closed on Monday, November 11, Veterans Day.
