The Hancock Lions Club, with help from the Hancock Lioness Club, will host their annual community Christmas dinner on Saturday, December 19. Due to COVID restrictions on gatherings, the dinner will offer dinners only for pickup.
The drive-thru event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hancock American Legion at 240 East Main Street.
Organizers say they must have a reservation ahead of time from those who would like a meal.
Those interested in receiving the meals should call Hancock Town Hall at 301-678-5622 by Tuesday, December 15 and leave their name and how many people are requesting a meal.
There will be no inside dining for the Christmas dinner this year, organizers stressed. They will be following all Maryland health regulations while distributing the dinners at the American Legion.
