Linda S. Golden, 70, of Valrico, Fla., formerly of Hancock, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Golden; four children, the late Christopher Golden’s wife, Kathy Babcock and their two kids: Kimberly and Kaitlin, and Kathy’s third child, Donya, from Kathy’s husband, Donn, Greenville, SC; Angie Lipsey and her husband Tony and their three kids: Taylor, Bailey, and Trey, Valrico, FL; Terry Golden and his wife Lisa and their four kids: Peyton, Riley, Drew, and Zac, Valrico, FL; Bryant Golden and his wife Nicole and their four kids: Brooke, Ryder, Braxton and Case, Valrico, Fla; Heather Portillo and her husband Michael and their three kids: Bryson, Aubrey and Corbin, Clearwater, Fla. two great-grandchildren, Aviella and Jameson Hudson, Central, SC; three brothers and three sisters: Duane and his wife Dovona Unger, Hancock; Kay and her husband Gates Horsburgh, Bel Aire, Md.; Shirley and her husband Larry, Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; Jo Ann and her husband Michael Schetrompf, Hancock; Rodney and his wife Debbi Unger, Little Orleans, Md. and Michael Unger, Hancock.

Funeral services were celebrated Saturday, September 14, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Centerpoint Church, Valrico, Fla. Interment followed at Bloomingdale Cemetery, Valrico, Fla.

In lieu of flowers, financial gifts can be given to Centerpoint Church, the church she gave her life to faithfully serving and building alongside her husband, Dale Golden, for over 30 years so that people could encounter life in Jesus.
