Both the Berkeley Springs High School and Paw Paw High School Cross Country Teams traveled to Clear Spring High School for the Interstate Classic on Saturday, September 1.

e one two punch of sophomore Belle Harvey and senior Brooke Davison captured the Small Team Championship.
Harvey finished in first place with a time of 20:11.8. Davison was second with a time of 22:00.4. Berkeley Springs had two other runners also finish in the top 10. Sophomore Taylor Mason was sixth with a time of 22:39.9 while senior Alex Banks was ninth with a time of 22:52.9.
On the boys side the Paw Paw Pirates got a top 10 place winner as sophomore Dominic Tanouye finished in eighth place with a time of 17:50.0. Tanouye was also named the male performer of the meet.
The Berkeley Springs Indians boys cross country team finished in ninth place in the team standings with 193 points.
The Tribe was led by junior Cole Morris who finished in 36th place with a time of 21:03 and senior Dylan Wise who finished in 37th place with a time of 21:05. Sophomore Landon Riggleman was 40th with a time of 21:16 and freshman Daniel Emmons was 41st with a time of 21:19.
Next up for Berkeley Springs and Paw Paw cross country teams is the Frankfort Invitational on Saturday, September 15.
