Kenneth L. Mason
1959-2021
Kenneth Leroy Mason, age 62, of Bunker Hill, W.Va., died on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Willow Tree Healthcare Center in Charles Town, W.Va.
Born January 31, 1959 in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late George Washington and Sarah Ellen Mellott Mason.
He attended Christ of the Brethren Church in Bunker Hill.
Kenneth attended public schools in Morgan County.
He enjoyed reading, especially the Bible and was an avid collector of gospel music cassette tapes and records.
He is survived by his siblings, Dorothy Ellen Heironimus, Patsy Darlene Miller, Donald Lee Mason, all of Berkeley Springs, Nancy Sue Harbaugh, of Bunker Hill and Roger Mellott of Big Pool, Md. Dannielle Nicole Harbaugh of Bunker Hill was his caretaker. They grew up together and she considered him to be a brother. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kenneth’s memory may be made directly to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses or to one’s favorite charity.
