Johnnica Jean “Nickey” Mason, 63, of Cross Junction, Va., died Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born July 2, 1955 in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Alfred Earl, Sr. and Mary Lee Spencer Evans.
She attended Francis Scott Key High School in Carroll County, Md.
She was a homemaker all her life.
She was a member of Risinger-Stotler VFW Post #4019 Ladies Auxiliary.
She liked cooking and being on her computer.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Lynn Mason at home; her children, Alisha Shrout, Cross Junction and Anthony Mason, Winchester, Va.; two sisters, Tina Evans, Inwood and Michaelene Evans, Cross Junction; one brother, Alfred Evans, Jr., Cross Junction; one grandson, Lucian Mason, Cross Junction and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Elijah Mason; one sister, Sharon Miller and one brother, Lawrence Evans.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 24 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs with Rev. Fr. Leonard A. Smith officiating, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Burial will be private.
