1964-2020

Joe Lee Delph, Sr., age 56, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, Md., while under the care of Hospice of Washington County and by his loving family.

Born on April 26, 1964 in Montgomery County, Md., he was the son of Hobert Lee Delph and his wife Cindy of Tennessee, and the late Nancy Elizabeth Colson Delph.

He was a free spirited person.

Joe was a grounds keeper and had his own lawn care service.

He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1483 and Alderton-Dawson Sons of the American Legion Squadron 60 both in Berkeley Springs.

Joe liked camping, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driving his Corvette and spending time with his wife, children and his grandchildren.

In addition to his father and his wife, Joe is survived by his wife, Ann Margaret O’Donnell Delph; his children, Mary Irene Harrison, Joe Lee Delph, Jr., Hobert Lawerance Delph and his wife Chelsea, Elizabeth Victoria Delph, all of Berkeley Springs, Joseph Christopher Harrison and his wife Brittany of Bel Air, Md., five grandchildren, Hayden Lee Harrison, Ethan Lee Shank, Emma Ann Delph all of Berkeley Springs, Colton Christopher Harrison and Clayton Joseph Harrison both of Bel Air.

Services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joe’s memory may be made to the Pediatric Burn Program at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.
