Joann C. Hott
1950-2019
Joann Christine Miller Hott, 68, of Hancock, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown.
Born December 26, 1950 in Waynesboro, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Jane Miller Wagner and the wife of Marvin L. Hott, whom she married 38 years ago.
She was a 1969 graduate of Waynesboro High School, Waynesboro.
She was a member of the Hancock Church of God.
She was employed by the Freeman Shoe Factory from 1969 until 1980 and was a Hancock Home Health Care provider for 12 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Bobbie Hott, Hancock; four step-daughters; three brothers; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one niece and four nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson and one brother.
Funeral services were held at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock on Friday, February 22. Pastor Terry Goodwin officiated.
Burial followed at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
