Jeannine “Ginger” (Marston) DeMoss, 89, of Martinsburg peacefully passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.

Born May 18, 1931, in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Wilbur P. Marston and Eva Mae (Bennett) Marston.

Ginger was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School, class of 1950.

She married William Edward DeMoss on March 23, 1951.

She accompanied her husband through four years in the Air Force, finally settling in Berkeley County in 1960.

She was employed in seasonal work at National Fruit in Martinsburg from 1967-1980 where she operated an apple peeler.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, William DeMoss; son, William DeMoss, Jr., and wife, Susan of Ridgeley, W.Va., and daughter, Susan Sibert and husband, Andrew, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; grandchildren, Marci and husband, Dan Duncan, Bradley DeMoss, Cindy Palmer, Andrew Sibert, Jr., and fiancé, Samantha Shade and Adrian Sibert; great grandchildren, Landon, Waylon and Gabriel Duncan, Zachary Palmer and Tia Sibert; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ramona (DeMoss) Apple and Paul Apple. She was preceded in death by her sister, Zellene, and brother-in-law, Rhea Kirk; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Leona (DeMoss) and Max Crosen; and her in-laws, Lawrence and Hallie (Boyles) DeMoss.

Service and interment are private.
