Hugh L. Rockwell, Jr.

Hugh Leroy Rockwell, Jr., 70, of Winston-Salem, N.C., died.
He was born March 1, 1950.
He liked woodworking, taking photographs and was a craftsman.
He was a graduate of Morris Harvey College.
He began his career in management in the coal industry at Bethlehem Coal and retired from Patriot Coal as senior transportation manager.
He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Winston, Salem.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Joyce Dawson Rockwell, Winston-Salem; one son, Patrick Rockwell, Marietta, Ga.; two grandsons, Nolan and Maddon Rockwell; one sister, Rebecca Rockwell Wallace and several nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Rockwell.
A memorial service will be held later in the spring.
