1929-2019

Henry “Bud” Berlin Weber, age 90, of Warfordsburg Pa., passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Magnolias of Chambersburg Senior Living, in Chambersburg, Pa.

Born September 18, 1929, in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Frank L. and Jessie B. (Lineweaver) Weber; and the widower of Mary Jane (Manning) Weber, whom he married June 20, 1956, and who passed away on January 19, 2015.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army.

He retired after thirty years of employment at Potomac Edison; and he farmed all of his adult life.

He was a member of the VFW Post 4019, and the Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post 60, both in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

He was of the Protestant faith, and was an avid hunter.

Bud is survived by several nieces and nephews; a brother-in-law, Charles Manning; and two sisters-in law, Louise and Irene Weber.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Paul, and Chester Weber; and three sisters, Mary Frances McBee, Hazel Raines, and Jessie Steiner.

Funeral services will be held at the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church, on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Edward H. Blank officiating.

The family will receive friends there, from 10 until 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Warfordsburg Presbyterian Church, 12941 Buck Valley Rd., Warfordsburg, PA 17267; or to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
