Gerald Allen McMullen, age 71, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the Winchester Medical Center, in Winchester, Va.
Born November 17, 1947, in Hagerstown, Md., he was the son of the late Herbert A. and Freda (Engle) McMullen; and the husband of Gladys (Bishop) McMullen.
He was a retired self-employed farmer.
He was a member of the CBN 700 Club; and a lover of animals.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three brothers-in law, Donald Bishop, of Maryland, Ronald and Perry Bishop, both of Pennsylvania; four sisters-in-law, Ellie Myers, of Hancock, Md., Ethel Iden, of West Virginia, Vicki Bishop, of Maryland, and Misty Bishop, of Pennsylvania; two nieces, Jill Bishop and Andrea Bishop, both of Pennsylvania; and one nephew, Christopher Myers, of Maryland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ila Engle.
The funeral and burial will be private, at the convenience of his family.
Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.
