Frances Bowling Webb, 93 of Cross Junction, Va., formerly of Olive Hill, Tenn., died Saturday, April 28, 2018.
Born January 12, 1925 in Olive Hill, she was the daughter of the late Joe Martin and Rebecca Williams Bowling.
She was a retired United States postal worker, where she worked her way up to senior secretary for the post master general in Washington, D.C.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, Berkeley Springs.
She liked visiting patients in the hospital, working in her garden and doing crafts.
She is survived by her husband James William Webb, Jr. whom she married August 14, 1992; one daughter, Teresa Achee, Alexandria, Va.; two sister-in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Pearl Davis, Ethel Alexander and Bell Bowling and eight brothers, Fred, Taylor, Dexter, Tommy, Burgess, Frank, Earl and Joe, Jr. Bowling.
Services were held Saturday, May 5 at Shackleford Chapel in Savannah, Tenn.
Clarence McDowell officiated.
Burial was in the Memory Gardens, Savannah.
