Fire Marshal’s Office offers reward for Great Cacapon arson

The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating a vehicle fire that occurred on Monday, April 16 at 4:18 a.m. in the 300 block of Hammond Street in Great Cacapon. The fire has been ruled incendiary, meaning investigators are considering the fire an arson, said Assistant State Fire Marshal George Harms. The Fire Marshal’s Office is offering a reward of up to $5,000.00 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Call the Arson Hotline at 1-800-233-FIRE (3473) with any tips.
