Berkeley Spring State Park focused on youth art and activities. On Saturday, groups and vendors filled the Berkeley Springs Senior Center north of town under sunny skies.
County residents put their handmade crafts and homemade foods on display, competed in old-fashioned events like a fiddle contest, kid’s tractor pull and watermelon-eating race.
The event, organized by the Morgan County Fair Board, is a project of the West Virginia University Extension Service, in partnership with multiple non-profit groups. Informational displays taught Expo visitors about critters, plants, health topics, technology and local services.
