If you’re a youth in Hancock or know one who has had a “crazy COVID-19 life” the last few months, the Town of Hancock has a chance for those youth to win a little bit of spending money.

The town is sponsoring a “My Crazy COVID-19 Life” essay for youth age 18 and younger where they can either write or submit artwork how they are surviving the global pandemic.

The first lace winner will receive $75, second place will receive $50, and third place $25.

All essays or artwork is due by September 1 with winners being announced on September 30.

Entries can be sent to Hancock Works! Career Center Town Hall, 126 West High Street, Hancock, MD 21750, Attention: Amy Gillespie, or emailed to workforcedevelopmenthancock@gmail.com.

The youth’s name and contact information also needs to be included.
