Eileen Mae Stinebaugh Barnhart, 89, of Great Cacapon, died Monday, January 28, 2019 at War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs.

Born December 25, 1929 in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late Robert Thomas and Mary Ann Katherine Shade Corbin.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Great Cacapon, the United Methodist Women and the Ladies Missionary Society.

She was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.

She worked at Little Miss canning factory during the 1940s and then worked from 1960-1990 at Vanguard Products in Berkeley Springs.

She served on the Morgan County Republican Club Executive Committee in 1998. She was an active volunteer with local civic groups and the Great Cacapon Volunteer Fire Company.

She had been a homemaker in recent years.

Surviving are her sons, Earl “JR” Stinebaugh, Jr. and Thomas “Tucker” Stinebaugh, both of Great Cacapon; one sister, Hazel McFadden, Staunton, Va.; three grandsons, Earl “Jay” Stinebaugh III and Cameron Stinebaugh, both of Great Cacapon and Thomas “TJ” Stinebaugh, Hagerstown, Md.; one step granddaughter, Teri Gunther, Hedgesville; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Clifton Stinebaugh, Sr. in 1967; her second husband, Roger Allen “Beanie” Barnhart in 1990; one daughter, Judith Stinebaugh; five sisters, Ruth Sipes, Alta “Peggy” Phillips, Phyllis Smith, Nancy Corbin and Mary Fox and one brother, David Corbin.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, February 1 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs. Pastor Delmas Bard officiated.

Interment was in Bethel Cemetery.
