Eileen F. Clark
1934-2018
Eileen Fern Clark, age 84, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at her daughter and son-in-law’s residence while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born June 25, 1934 in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Carl and Theresa Helen Aulabaugh Swaim.
She was a member of Trinity-Asbury United Methodist Church.
Eileen was a Berkeley Springs High School graduate. S
he was a homemaker all her life to her husband and children.
Eileen worked as a greeter at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
She enjoyed cooking, reading, crossword puzzles and loved socializing with anyone she met.
Eileen was known as “GiGi” to her four great grandchildren who always knew that “GiGi” would have a stash of candy for them.
Eileen is survived by her children, Robin Ann Michael and her husband John of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Lisa Kay Clark Anders of Martinsburg, W.Va.; her son-in-law Chuck Anders of Reynoldsville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey Curtis Michael, Caitlin Clark Zeigler and her husband Tim, all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Nikki Lynn Gregory and her husband Brandon of Martinsburg, W.Va.; four great grandchildren, Kaylee Smith, Ethan Gregory and Emryee Gregory, all of Martinsburg, W.Va., Haven Michael of Hancock, Md., and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Glen “Dick” Clark on July 21, 2006 and one sister, Mary Elizabeth McBee.
The family received friends on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 1-2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with Pastor Wayne Frum officiating.
Private burial will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery at a later date.
