Edith E. Jenkins
1930-2019
Edith E. Brough Jenkins, 88, of Martinsburg, formerly of Berkeley Springs, died Tuesday, March 26, 2019.
She was born August 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Rose P. Brough.
She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Winchester Avenue Christian Church.
She was a homemaker.
She was a graduate of Martinsburg High School, class of 1948.
She is survived by her sister, Rosalie Grove, Martinsburg; two sons, James Jenkins, Jr. and Eric Jenkins; several grandchildren, Kristi Petree, Sarah Hoffmaster, Steve Petree, Rosa Ambrose, Jacob Jenkins, Bethany Jenkins, Jeremiah Jenkins and Michael Jenkins and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James Jenkins, Sr. and two daughters, Elisa Petree and Lori Ambrose.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 7 at 11 a.m. at the Rosedale Chapel, 917 Cemetery Road, Martinsburg.
A celebration of life is being planned for later this year.
