Earnest W. Clark, Jr.
1928-2019
Earnest Wilson Clark, Jr., 90, of Berkeley Springs, died on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs.
Born December 27, 1928 in Morgan County, he was the son of the late Earnest Willard and Virgie Viola Michael Clark.
He was a member of Calvary Bible Church.
He attended Berkeley Springs High School.
He worked as a laborer for General Motors Company.
He liked farming, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Steven Clark, David Clark and Teresa Seville all of Berkeley Springs, 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years Ruth Johnson Clark on January 22; one sister, Iva Mason; five brothers, Calvern Clark, Sylvester Clark, Chester Clark, Ward Clark and Irvin Clark.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, October 11, 11 a.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs with Pastor Jason Seville officiating. Burial was in Spohrs Crossroads.
