1942-2019

Earl Douglas “Buster” Meyers, 77, of Paw Paw, died Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville.

Born August 22, 1942 at Eckhart Mines, Md., he was the son of the late Eugene Meyers and Hattie Green Meyers.

He worked for Federal Mogul and Abex in Winchester.

He was a member of the Paw Paw Church of Christ and coached little league.

On March 5, 1966, he married Irene Bullett Meyers, who survives, also surviving are one daughter, Carol Curry, Paw Paw; one son, Earl “Buttons” Meyers, Paw Paw; two grandchildren, Alicia Meyers and De’Anndrea Julian and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Green and Eugene Meyers.

A funeral service was conducted Friday, September 6 at the Paw Paw Church of Christ. Evangelist Richard White officiated. Interment was at Camp Hill Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Kimble Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
