Dorothy A. Younker
1942-2019
Dorothy Ann Marie Johnson Younker, 76, of Hedgesville passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Hospice of the Panhandle Inpatient Facility.
Born December 19, 1942 in Martinsburg, W.V., she was the daughter of the late Walter Johnson and Virginia Emma Mullen Johnson.
She was a member of Independent Church of God in Hedgesville.
She is survived by one son, Quay Younker and wife April; two daughters, Tracy L. Hensley and Tina Everhart; six grandchildren, Laken and Michael Hensley, BrookeAnn and Timmy Everhart, and Joshua and Hunter Younker; three great-grandchildren Jaylen Hafner and Micah Brown and Xavier Vargas; and one brother, Bernard Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. Younker; and one sister, Delores K. Johnson French.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Back Creek Valley Full Gospel Pentecostal Church with Pastors Lynnie and Ada Ambrose officiating.
Interment will be in Back Creek Valley Full Gospel Cemetery in Shanghai.
