Doris Agnes Leonard, 79, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at The Berkeley Springs Center LLC.
Born January 17, 1940 in Chicopee, Mass., she was the daughter of the late William Theodore and Doris Eleanor Martin Slate.
She was a Christian.
She attended Chicopee City Schools.
She was a laborer at Zero Manufacturing.
She liked painting, was an avid social media enthusiast and was a breeder of poodles.
She is survived by her son, William Slate, Berkeley Springs; one sister, Diane Kendall, Munson, Mass.; one grandson, John Arwood-Slate, Berkeley Springs and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Leonard and two sisters, Joan Gay and Judith Moyneau.
Services and interment will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
