Donna May Geronimo
Donna May Geronimo, 82, of Apple Creek, Ohio, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 following a short illness.
Donna was born to Marcella (Hildebrandt) Wolf and Arthur Wolf.
She was a Wellington High School alumnus and moved several times in her life before settling in Apple Creek, Ohio.
She worked as a Kelly girl for many years doing secretarial work; at Berkeley Springs Medical Associates as a billing clerk; at CNB of Berkeley Springs in customer service; and most recently at Lehman’s Hardware in Kidron, Ohio before her retirement.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Beverly Wolf; a brother, William Wolf; and her second husband, Tony Geronimo.
She is survived by her children: Cheryl (Michael) Gayle of Togo, W. Africa; Denise (Neil) Bousman of Muncie, Ind.; and Charlene (Adam) Leimeister of Apple Creek. She leaves behind ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Orville Christian Church, and before that First United Methodist Church in Berkeley Springs for many years.
Family graveside services were held at the Foxfield Nature Preserve for family only.
Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton handled the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism (ABWE) in the name of the Gayle or Wolford families.
