Donald R. Bradshaw
1935-2019
Donald R. Bradshaw, age 84, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Fulton County Medical Center, in McConnellsburg, Pa.
Born March 15, 1935, in Warfordsburg, he was the son of the late Marshall and Edna (Johnson) Bradshaw.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Mamie (Mellott) Bradshaw; a daughter, Donna Exline; two grandsons, Kenny and Matthew Exline; a great-grandson, Malichi Sudol; three step-great-grandchildren, Carter, Alyssia and Arielle; a brother, Mark Bradshaw; and a sister, Mary Sauter.
Donald was preceded in death by a son, William (Billy) Bradshaw; his twin sister, Delores Hanks; and a brother, Eugene Bradshaw.
He was a member of the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, in Warfordsburg.
He owned and operated a saw mill for many years, and also was a farmer.
He loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and camping.
The family received friends on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 3 until 8 p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md.
Funeral services were held at the Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Pastor Lyle Mellott officiated. Interment followed in the Pleasant Grove Christian Cemetery, on Pleasant Grove Road, Warfordsburg.
