Donald Louis Ricci, 75, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Garret Regional Medical Center, Oakland, Md. Born June 24, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Albert and Helen Peca Ricci. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Berkeley Springs. He attended public schools in Philadelphia and worked for 25 years, as a carpenter with Local #8 in Philadelphia. He was a member of the Junior Order of United American Mechanics Council #117 in Berkeley Springs. He liked riding and working on motorcycles. He is survived by one step-son James Gibbons III, Clifton Heights, Pa. and two grandchildren, Brianna Gibbons and James Gibbons IV, both of Clifton Heights. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Scott Long Ricci. The family will receive friends from noon-1 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs where there will be a Junior Order Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Interment will be private.
