Deborah Kay McManus Stotler, 65, of Great Cacapon, died Monday, August 13, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Born July 31, 1953 at War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of the late William Theodore and Pauline Margaret Fields McManus.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Great Cacapon.

She was a 1972 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.

She had worked at National Fruit in Winchester and retired as a custodian with Morgan County Public Schools.

She was active with the Great Cacapon Elementary School PTA and was a member of the Great Cacapon Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary for more than 40 years. She recently became a supportive member of the Great Cacapon Volunteer Fire Company.

She liked crafts, cooking and canning.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Lester Roy Stotler, at home; three children, Lisa Reed and David Stotler, both of Great Cacapon and Richard Stotler, Martinsburg; one sister, Barbara Stotler, Great Cacapon; one brother, Terry “Tojo” McManus, Great Cacapon; four grandchildren, Sara Stotler and Tyler Stotler, both of Berkeley Springs, Austin Reed and Isabelle Stotler, both of Great Cacapon and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Robert McManus, Richard “Dick” McManus, Eugene “Onion” McManus, Steven “Squeak” McManus, Albert McManus and Michael Hovermale, Sr.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 18 at Calvary United Methodist Church, Great Cacapon. Pastor Steve Dawson officiated. Interment was private.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family to help defray medical and funeral expenses.

Arrangements were handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Berkeley Springs.
