Charlotte J. Kerns

Charlotte Jean Kerns, 69, of Hancock, died Monday, February 10, 2020 at Doey’s House, Hagerstown, Md.
Born April 28, 1950, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Millard F. and Eleanor Dawson McCusker and the widow of David Neil Kerns, whom she married April 2, 1968 and who died on December 25, 2013.
She was a homemaker.
She was a 40 year member of the Webster B. Harrison Post 26 Ladies Auxiliary in Hancock.
She is survived by two daughters, Brandi Black and Diana Stevens, both of Hagerstown; one son, David Kerns, Waynesboro, Pa.; six grandchildren; one brother, Frank McCusker, Berkeley Springs and two sisters, Hazel Waugh and Brenda Timmons, both of Berkeley Springs.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Selph.
A memorial service was held Saturday, February 15 at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, Hancock. Rev. Philip Unger officiated. Burial followed in the adjoining church cemetery.
