Charles T. Ridgeway
1951-2019
Charles Theodore “Stump Dillon” Ridgeway, 67, of Wardensville, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019 near his home.
He was born October 10, 1951 in Berkeley Springs, he was the son of the late Arthur U. and Virginia Smith Ridgeway.
He worked in construction for various companies through the years and was a United States Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.
He collected guns, knives, cowboy memorabilia, historical war items and liked John Wayne, westerns and playing lottery tickets.
Surviving is his life partner of nearly 41 years, Gloria Remington, Wardensville; one son, Jesse Remington, Wardensville; one sister, Darlene Powers, Great Cacapon; one brother, Arthur “Hoppy” Ridgeway, Berkeley Springs and one half sister, Kathleen Griffith, Huntington.
Arrangements are being held private. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of one’s choice.
