Charles Patrick “Chuck” Nutwell, 47, of Needmore, Pa., died Saturday, May 4, 2019 due to auto accident in Berkeley Springs.

Born May 3, 1972 in Annapolis, he is the son of Barbara Jean Shafer Nutwell and the late William Edwin Nutwell, Jr.

He was a graduate of Annapolis High School, class of 1990.

He was employed by B. J. Auctions and a member of the Hancock United Methodist Church. He liked horsepulling and blacksmithing. He was a member of MD Draft Horse and Mule Association.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kimberly A. Nutwell; two daughters, Kelly Williams and Tiffany Plessinger; one grandson, E. J. Plesssinger; two aunts and many family members.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, W. Edwin Nutwell, Sr., Rose Nutwell, Charles Shafer, Jr. and Jeannette Shafer and one brother, W. Edwin “Bill” Nutwell III.

Services will be held today, Wednesday, May 8 at 1 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Joshua Gillen and Mike Marpole will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Needmore.

The family will receive friends Wednesday one hour prior to the funeral. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the charity of your choice to help children.
