1936-2018
Charles Darwin Flanary, 81, of Berkeley Springs, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born October 14, 1936 in Clinch Port, Va., he was the son of the late Emory Elijah and Bonnie McCoy Flanary.
He was of the Methodist faith.
He was a computer programmer for the government.
He liked gardening and cats.
He is survived by two daughters, Bonnie Seggelink, Plano, Texas and Corinne Matherly, Berkeley Springs; one son, Bruce Flanary, Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Margaret Thaggard of North Carolina and three brothers, Allen and Buddy Flanary, Kingsport, Tenn. and Dannie Flanary of North Carolina.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Louise Ann Sears-Flanary on April 11, 2018; one son, Sean Flanary and one brother, Bruce Flanary.
Services and interment will be private.
