Charles Alonzo Spencer, Jr., 68, of Hagerstown, Md., died Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Meritus Health in Hagerstown.
He was born June 7, 1950 at Harrisburg, Pa, he was the son of Dolly Anderson Spencer of Cumberland, Md. and the late Charles A. Spencer, Sr.
He had worked at Stroehmann Bakeries.
Besides his mother, he is survived by three daughters, Crystal Burnett and Carman Spencer, both of Hagerstown and Candy Spencer, Cumberland; two sons, Charles Spencer II, Muskogee, Okla. and Chad Spencer, Hagerstown; two sisters, Dixie Anderson, Anaheim, Calif. and Betty Green, Hagerstown; two brothers, Gilbert Spencer, Paw Paw and Norman Spencer, Cumberland; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, February 28 at Paw Paw United Methodist Church. Rev. Darlene Powers officiated.
Interment was in Camp Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Kimble Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
