Construction on an addition to Cacapon State Park lodge is underway.
Excavators and other contractors were on site at Cacapon State Park on Monday, October 15, digging into work on an expansion of the lodge and other improvements. Paramount Builders of St. Albans is the general contractor for the $25 million project. A new wing with 78 additional rooms will be added on the north end of the existing lodge. Park upgrades also include an indoor pool, new dining room, lounge and spa. Construction is expected to take two years.
