1942-2019

Carl Bernard Cooley, 76, of Berkeley Springs, died Friday, May 24, 2019 at his home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born November 3, 1942 in Silver Spring, Md., she was the son of the late Carl Bernard, Sr. and Ethel Cooley.

He was a Christian.

He attended school in Wheaton, Md.

He worked as a mechanic on heavy equipment.

He was a member of the Berkeley Springs Moose Lodge #1483.

He liked working on cars and watching NASCAR races.

He is survived by two daughters, Carla Cooley, Martinsburg and Deborah Cooley, Mt. Union, Pa.; three sons, James Cooley, Walkersville, Md., Johnny Cooley, Frederick, Md. and Roy Cooley, Great Cacapon; one sister, Susan Cooley, Frederick and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Jean Bane Cooley and two daughters, Kimberly Cooley and Lisa Cooley.

Services will be announced at a later date.
