Bernadean M. Youngblood

1934-2018
Bernadean Marie Youngblood, age 84, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the War Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility.
Born March 5, 1934 at home in Morgan County, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Flim Lester and Margaret Ellen Shade Stotler.
She had attended Bethel United Methodist Church. She was a 1952 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. Bernadean worked, for 41 years, as a bartender at Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post #60 and was a member of Women of the Moose Chapter #1311, both in Berkeley Springs. She collected Boyd’s Bears, Longaberger Baskets and loved to go to yard sales.
Surviving are her children, Danny Charles Youngblood and his wife Venessa of Berkeley Springs and Debra Marie Spring and her companion of 20 years, Greg Replogle, of Hopewell, Pa.; one sister, Irene Shirley Merchant of Berkeley Springs; six grandchildren, Nichole Michele “Nicky” McCarty and her husband Jay, Tammy Lynn Youngblood and Matthew Colt Spring, all of Berkeley Springs, Brett Gregory Replogle, Laken Chantel Replogle and Marina Robin Replogle, all of Hopewell, seven great-grandchildren, Michael Kevin McCarty of Hedgesville, W.Va., Kelsey Nichele McCarty, Emily Brooke Butts, Andrew Wesley Butts, Taylor Ellen Butts and Noah David Talbert, all of Berkeley Springs and Haylee Rae Mayne of Hopewell; two great-great-grandchildren, Parker Elizabeth Waugh and Calleigh Mae McCarty, both of Hedgesville and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ezra Youngblood on May 14, 1984.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., with Pastor Steve Dawson officiating. Interment in Buck’s Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
The family received friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home where there was a Women of the Moose Memorial Service at 7 p.m.
