Berkeley Springs High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2019 announced

The following individuals and team have been selected as the newest members of the Berkeley Springs High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2019.
The Class of 2019 will be presented at the home varsity football game against Hancock on Friday, September 13.

The official hall of fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 14  at 5 p.m. at the high school cafeteria and auditorium.
In the following weeks there will be an article on each of the hall of fame members in The Morgan Messenger.

2019 Hall of Fame

Jeanne Hottel – standout women’s basketball player.

Charles Lutman – Standout football & track. Bi-State Conference & Shepherd Hall of Fame member.

Mark Didawick  – 1980’s standout basketball player, state tournament player, honorable mention all-state, former coach at BSHS.

Mike Riggleman – State Wrestling Champion in 1994 and member of the 1995 State Wrestling Team Champion.

John Mundey – standout cross country & track, state champion in 1600, 3200 and 4×800 meter relay, 2018 U.S. Army Reserve Soldier of the Year and Best Warrior.

2011 Berkeley Springs Lady Indians Track Team – first girls  state track team champion in Berkeley Springs history.

Members of the team include: Dave Mundey, Head Track Coach, David Aberegg, Assistant Track Coach; John Rowland, Assistant Track Coach, Kayla Mundey, Sara Younker, Lacee Fulton, Michelle Williams, Jordan Bennett, Melissa Colby, Amanda Case, Toni Davison, Alicia McJilton, Leah Kidwell, Casey Solomon and Harlie Stotler.
