Paw Paw High School senior Johnny Rodriguez was to play baseball in the spring for the Pirates.
He did not get the chance to take to the diamond for his second year.
Rodriguez stayed busy as a member of the Paw Paw Pirates varsity basketball team the last three years.
This past winter he was recognized as the West Virginia Hometown Invitational Tournament player of the game.
Rodriguez also spent one year in the Guitar Club at Paw Paw.
Rodriguez’s post-graduation plans is to just live the American dream and work until he can retire.
