Barbara L. Flowers
1938-2021
Barbara L. Flowers (nee Burnett) of Hancock, Md., passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the age of 82.
Born in Brosius, W.Va., on September 24, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Harold A. and Magdalene M. (Fox) Burnett.
She is survived by her husband, James (Jimmie) Flowers, Jr.; sons, Dennis Flowers and his wife, Marlene Rodman, and David Flowers and his wife, Megan; granddaughter, Lindsay Clingerman and her husband, Mike; grandson, Brady Flowers; step-grandchildren, Carter and Jaxon Sobol; great-granddaughter, Ava Clingerman and many nieces and nephews.
She was formerly a rural mail carrier for the Hancock Post Office.
Barbara was a loving wife and a caring mother and grandmother. She will be remembered as someone that was kind and friendly to everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Ruth Burnett; and a brother, Charles Burnett.
Services will be private.
