Barbara Ann Perry, age 83, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. died on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at War Memorial Hospital.

Born November 6, 1936 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Peter Wesley and Carrie Virginia Henry McCoy.

She was a member of Highland United Methodist Church.

She attended Berkeley Springs High School.

Barbara was the owner operator of the Southern Belle Truck Stop in Berkeley Springs, this December will make 50 years she has owned and operated the Truck Stop.

She is survived by her companion Ray Kees; three daughters, Victoria Ann Waugh and husband Jed, Sandra Jean McCarty and husband Steve and Doris Faye Burkey and husband Michael, all of Berkeley Springs; two sons, Donald Keith Perry and wife Tracy of Williamsport and David Milton Perry and wife Lisa of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two sisters, Betty Hovermale of Berkeley Springs and Judy Shifflet of Hancock, Md.; one brother, Joseph McCoy of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; 16 grandchildren, Rebecca Swink and husband Michael, Jared Waugh, Jacob Waugh and wife Lauren, J.R. Perry and companion Amy Stull, Jessica Perry and companion Bobby Fletcher, Ashley Morris and husband Steve, Derek Perry and wife Samantha, Garrett McCauley, Brayden McCauley, Kayden McCauley, Jennifer Carter and husband Jeb, Amy Perry and companion Jon Mechem, Brittany Stevens and husband Matt, Elissa Foley, Joseph Burkey and Cameron Burkey and wife Amber; 26 great-grandchildren, Chance Swink, Scarlett Swink, Holland Waugh, Julia Waugh, Cheyenne Hiles, Remington Hiles, Whitney Hiles, Jenna Perry, Quintin Thompson, Lacie Morris, Stevie Morris, Kyla Martin, Kaitlynn Foley, Levi Foley, Kasadie Burkey, Baylee Maires, J.J. Burkey, Lucas Burkey, Taylor Stull, Cameron Stull, Carter Perry, Jolene Perry, Lucy Carter, June Carter, Jane Carter and Maria Stevens. One great-great-grandchild Bryson Stanley.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Victor Milton Perry on October 6, 1994; one sister, Faye Copeland; two brothers, James McCoy and Robert McCoy; one grandchild, Charles “Chuck” Perry and one great grandchild, Holley Perry.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26 at Hunter-Anderson Funeral Home, 36 S. Green Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at the funeral home with Pastor Jack William Hiles, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
