1965-2019

Arnold R. “Tuck” Wandless, age 53, of McConnellsburg, Pa., passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Select Specialty Hospital, in Harrisburg, Pa.

Born June 12, 1965, in Cumberland, Md., he was the son of Anna Wandless of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and the late Sam Wandless, of Flintstone, Md.

He was a 1983 graduate of Flintstone High School, in Flintstone, Md.

He had formerly owned and operated a hoof trimming business. He had also worked for several businesses in the area, including W. D. Byron, Kline Paving and Larstan Industries.

He loved watching John Wayne movies and spending time with his loving wife of 31 years, Vivian (Bishop) Wandless, and his dog, Princess.

Arnold was of the Jehovah Witness faith.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a step-daughter, Melody Bowman and her husband, Allen, of Everett, Pa.; two step-sons, Grant Diehl, II and his wife, Alberta, of Warfordsburg, Pa., and David Diehl and his wife, Tina, of Hancock, Md.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Sam Wandless and his wife, Diane, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Freddie Wandless and his wife, Trisha, of Flintstone, Md.; three sisters, Anna VanGosen and her husband, Brian, of Berkeley Springs, Teresa Brothers and her husband, Bob, of Cumberland, Md., and Rita Norris and her husband, Glenn, of Little Orleans, Md.; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Tasha Knepper, who was his hunting buddy.

A Memorial Service was held at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 6 p.m., with Elder Michael Ritondo officiating.

There was a gathering of family and friends at the Funeral Home for two hours prior to the Service, from 4 until 6 p.m.
