Ann J. O’Neal
1937-2018
Ann Jeanette O’Neal, 81, of Berkeley Springs, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Born August 7, 1937 in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late John Curtis, Sr. and Alice Softley Earles.
She was a Christian.
She graduated from Eastern High School in Baltimore.
She worked for 30 years as a secretary with Sears.
She liked camping, crabbing, fishing and just being outdoors.
She is survived by one step-son, William O’Neal, Huddleston, Va. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Torrence O’Neal on April 28, 1998; one step-daughter, Donna O’Neal; one sister, Rose Paice; infant twin brother and one brother, John Earles, Jr.
Memorial services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, November 4 at Fairview Church, 1747 Crooked Run Road, Artemas, Pa. with Rev. Milton Morris.
Burial will be private.
Arrangements are being handled by Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs.
