Morgan County Christian Homeschool Community

Morgan County Christian Homeschool Community had a visit from Mary Mulcare, Wayne Forster and Brian Tucker with Creative Arts Therapy on Monday, January 29 at the Refuge in Berkeley Springs.

Creative Arts Therapy had various percussion instruments for the homeschoolers to try.

This past November the Recycling Coalition of WV, Inc. held their 2017 Freedom Contest and winners were awarded January 2018. Morgan County Christian Homeschool

Community member and sixth grader Malachi Unger was the winner for the fourth-sixth grade group with his stop animation video using Legos.

Ruth Osti, Ayla Bard and Lexi Bard participated in the 15th Annual ReFashion Show sponsored by The Recycling Coalition of WV. The trio traveled to the ReFashion show held at Charleston Town Center Mall on November 18, 2017 where they wore their dress designs created from recycled materials in the show.

Last fall during the 2017 semester children prepared food boxes to be dispersed at Snyder’s Food Pantry on Route 9, created care packages and baked cookies for the homeless of Morgan County, participated in the Winter Fest parade, and decorated a town meter for the holiday. The group also had a field trip to South Morgan Fire Department where they learned about fire safety with local firefighters Don Clark, Steven O’Dell and Fire Chief Mel Harmon.
