Sorry to hear of Ruth Marie's death. She went to school with my sister but always considered her my friend, too. Slim, her Dad, was my Dad's friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth

I am so sorry to hear of Ruth Marie's death. When she started school at Duckwall, she was afraid and timid, so I would walk down to the house and walk her back up Highland Ridge to school. My mom and dad, Mary and Roscoe Swaim, were good friends of Slim and Neva, and of course, George and Lottie. Ruth Marie"s aunt (we always called her by both names growing up) , Aunt Marie, lived with my Aunt and Uncle Walter and Lizzie (Swaim) Duckwall for a while in Baltimore on Asquith Street. They thought a lot of each other. I know Ruth Marie will be missed; I am sorry we are loosing a lot of Duckwall Hill/Highland Ridge people. I am 77 and was ahead of her in school: I now live in Florida since my husband, J Warren Buzzerd died.
